Behind the Blinds: Introducing the SelectConnect Bridge

youzhen contains other products and information you need, so please check it out.

Welcome to a special episode of Behind the Blinds! I'm Brandon and this is SelectConnect.

The SelectConnect Bridge is our brand new universal motorization bridge. It will allow you to use any motorized shades or blinds on our website all together, seamlessly in a singular app.

With the SelectConnect Bridge, you can add all of your motorized shades and blinds to this and then control them via the app as well as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Siri Shortcuts.

## How to Choose Connect Bridge

When selecting the right Connect Bridge, consider the following:

Compatibility

Ensure that the bridge is compatible with the existing motorized blinds and shades you have or plan to purchase. A universal motorization bridge like SelectConnect is designed to work with a variety of products.

Range and Capacity

Evaluate the coverage range of the bridge. For larger homes, check if the bridge can support additional controllers, like the SelectConnect Bridge which covers 2,500 square feet and supports up to 30 devices.

Local Control

Local control is crucial if you experience internet outages. SelectConnect offers functionality without internet, making it a reliable choice for managing your shades seamlessly.

Integration with Home Automation

If you have a custom home automation system, check that the bridge can be integrated without hassle. This will simplify your home management and enhance your overall experience.

In conclusion, choosing the right Connect Bridge involves evaluating compatibility, range, control options, and integration possibilities.

The app will allow you to set up scenes so you can close all of the shades in a single room with a single button. It also lets you set up schedules, so if you'd like your bedroom shades to open up slowly in the morning to start letting some natural light in to help you wake up, you can set that up one time and it will run automatically until you tell it to stop.

Inside the box, you'll receive a power adapter, power cable, the bridge itself, as well as a little quick Start Guide up here with the QR code to download the app to get you up and going.

We hope that you'll love your new SelectConnect Bridge, but if it gets overwhelming at any point, please don't hesitate to give our Design Consultant Team a call. We'll be more than happy to help!

We'll also have more in-depth programming and setup videos coming very soon. That's it for this week's episode of Behind the Blinds, the SelectConnect Edition. I'm Brandon. See you next week!

Best way to setup wireless bridge connection to another ...

Hi,

I need to setup a isolated network for students to use, The only way to get internet access it to go through a Wireless network, located in a different building, ran by different IT Staff, I have been given the authentication details to connect to the wireless network. but I am unsure what the best way would be to setup the wireless connection. I have 2 wireless routers, one supports bridge, so I was thinking of using that for connecting to the wireless network, but on the wireless network, the IT Staff have setup a proxy that runs on port 80, filtering all traffic and you have to authenticate to get internet access. I also have 2 computers with wireless cards in them and they connect fine, after authenticating via the proxy. The problem I am facing is how should I share the internet connection to 10 different desktops computers, with only lan cards in them. I have attached a image of how the network will be setup. Any suggestions would be good. I need to have a firewall within the small network, stopping any of the other IT staff from accessing the network I am setting up and have control of what students are browsing on the web. I need to try and set this up at the lowest price, as I don't have much of a budget.

Thanks!
